Join us for an upcoming IG Live with the founder of Black Collagists, Teri Henderson.

Join us for an IG Live on Thursday, May 12th from 6:30-7:30 PM EST with Teri Henderson, founder of Black Collagists! Black Collagists is a digital archive highlighting the work of Black collage artists globally. The mission of Black Collagists is to correct the historical record of collage and of art history which has continually underrepresented the work of Black artists.

We will discuss her organization and book, Black Collagists; the importance of collage as a Black archival praxis; the importance of memory work, particularly Black memory work; and the futurity of archival practices, preservation, and more. Storyteller and Black Women Radicals Visual Designer, Doriana Diaz, will co-lead the conversation!
